Reduction FAQ
Vocal ReductionFAQ
How well does your vocal reduction process work?
The vocal elimination process works well in approximately four out five recordings, reducing the vocal by 50-90%. This is very suitable for use in Karaoke settings.
back
Can you totally eliminate the vocal?
No. In some cases the vocal is reduced by 95%, but not 100% eliminated. To totally eliminate a vocal you would have to hire an audio engineer to take out the vocal digitally. This would be VERY expensive, more money than to record the entire soundtrack with live studio musicians!
back
Can I use the vocal reduction for Karaoke?
Absolutely. You can use your vocal CD for any non-paid private performance such as Karaoke.
back
Can I re-sell the vocal reduction CD?
No. The CD is only for your personal non-paid use.
back
I need this track right away, what is your turnaround time?
Usually three days from when we receive your master Compact Disc.
back
Can I send you a tape cassette?
No. To insure the best audio quality possible, we only accept compact discs in original packaging.
back
Can I send you a master CD that is a copy?
No. We must have the original packaging. We want to be sure the original artist received their proper royalty payments when the original recording was purchased.
back
What if my CD is the one in five that doesn't work well with vocal reduction, can I get a refund?
No. Due to the individual characteristic and stereo imaging of each recording, it is impossible to project the outcome of the process before it is done. We will make every effort to reduce the vocal as much as possible with our mastering equipment.
